Euclide ClassConnect Privacy Policy

Euclide ClassConnect is provided by Euclide Inc. This policy explains how the app handles information for teachers, school administrators and parents.

Information we handle

We process account details such as your name, email address or phone number, sign-in provider and school role. Schools and authorised users may enter school, staff, class, learner, attendance, academic, billing and payment information. The app also processes messages, reports, files and teaching resources that users choose to submit. Device notification tokens deliver school and message notifications. Timestamps and security logs are generated when the service is used.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, provide school administration and teaching tools, connect authorised school members, deliver messages and notifications, process payments, generate requested teaching content, prevent abuse, investigate reports, provide support and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Google Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions and push notifications. Google and Apple provide sign-in when selected. Lenco processes mobile-money payment details when a user chooses to pay. OpenAI processes prompts needed to generate teaching resources requested by a user. These providers process information to supply their respective services and under their own data-protection terms.

School records and sharing

Information is shared only with authorised members of the relevant school, a recipient selected by the user, service providers needed to operate a feature, or authorities where required by law. School administrators control institutional records created for their school.

Storage and security

Information is transmitted using encrypted network connections. Access controls restrict records by account, role and school membership. Users should protect their sign-in credentials and report suspected misuse.

Retention and deletion

Account profile data and private user uploads are deleted when account deletion is completed. Shared school records, messages, financial records and moderation records may remain under the school's control or be retained for safeguarding, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or legitimate institutional recordkeeping. Retained records are limited to those purposes and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Your choices

You may request correction through your school or Euclide support, block another user, report content, or delete your account from the profile menu. You can also use the external account-deletion page.

Children and school use

The service is intended for authorised adults and schools. Schools are responsible for appropriate notices and permissions when entering learner information and for limiting access to authorised staff and guardians.
